My ZUMIMALL camera is offline; how can I troubleshoot it?

If your ZUMIMALL camera is offline, here are some troubleshooting steps you could try:

1.Check the power and connection: Ensure that the camera battery has sufficient power and the camera is on.

2.Restart the camera: Sometimes a simple restart can resolve connectivity issues. Turn off the camera, wait for a few seconds, and then turn it back on.

3.Check your network connection: Verify that your Wi-Fi network is working properly. You can try connecting other devices to the same network to ensure it's not a network problem.

4.Move the camera closer to the router: If your camera is located far from the Wi-Fi router, it may have a weak signal. Try moving the camera closer to the router and see if it connects.

5.Reset the camera: If the above steps don't work, you can try resetting the camera to its factory settings. Refer to the camera's user manual or check the video in this link: https://www.zumimall.com/blogs/news/how-to-reset-and-connect-the-camera

I hope these steps help you troubleshoot the issue with your ZUMIMALL camera. If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please feel free to contact us by email customer@zumimall.com and tell us which one you are not sure.

Why my camera suddenly offline when it has sufficient power?

1.Is your camera too hot or too cold?
If your outdoor camera is too hot or cold, the camera shuts down temporarily until it reaches a safe operating temperature.

2.Is there Wi-Fi signal interference?
Environments with multiple Wi-Fi networks, Wi-Fi devices, or frequencies can cause signal interference.
If possible, minimize the number of networks, Wi-Fi devices, and transmitted frequencies in the area where you place your camera.
For help with adjusting Wi-Fi settings such as the channel for your router, check the instructions that came with your router or contact your internet service provider (ISP) if they installed your router.
Allow at least 6½ feet (2 meters) between each camera or ZUMIMALL camera to prevent Wi-Fi signals between the devices from interfering with each other.

3.It may be due to incompatibility between the APP and firmware.
Please upgrade the APP and firmware to the latest version for better performance. Please contact customer service and provide the SN number, and we will push the latest firmware for your camera.

My camera was working. It started reporting offline. I deleted the device and I am now trying to add again. I registered with qr code , it says connected, but then in final setup screen it shows wifi signal is weak. I am sitting 2 feet from router and phone connected to same router shows 100%. Any thing else to try?
