Warranty, Return & Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping at ZUMIMALL. We hope you enjoy your purchase, but if you are not completely satisfied with the product or require a repair, we are here to help.

Warranty Policy

  1. Warranty period

ZUMIMALL provides warranty service and official customer support only for new products purchased from ZUMIMALL official website and Amazon official store.

Product:

Security products (security cameras and video doorbells) purchased directly from our official website are covered by a 2.5-year limited warranty(If you register your product within 1 year and you will receive an extended 6 months. The warranty will begin from the date of invoice.*Register for Warranty).

ZUMIMALL certified refurbished products have a 6-month warranty.

Warranty confiscated

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to purchases from official stores. Any problems caused by man-made or improper use, we do not provide no reason to return

The warranty is void if: (a) the product is marked as a "sample" or "not for sale", or is sold "as is" or sent to you as a "prototype"; (b) the product is purchased from an unauthorized distributor (c) trademarks, serial labels, product stickers have been removed, altered or tampered with; (d) product has been disassembled, mishandled, misused or defaced; (e) unauthorized technicians Instructions for misuse of firmware upgrades; (f) damage caused by accidents, disassembly, abuse, or repair or modification by people other than the designated supplier, burnt, fission, or spare parts that have exceeded the warranty period; (g) due to improper working environment or operation Product damage caused by, for example, improper temperature, humidity, abnormal physical or electrical stress or interference, power failure or fluctuation, static electricity, use of wrong power adapter, etc.; (h) Product damage caused by violation of battery safe handling and usage instructions ; (i) Product damage due to force majeure, natural disasters, etc.; (j) Warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

  1. Limitation of damages

For products purchased through ZUMIMALL authorized dealers or distributors, please contact them directly for after-sales service. ZUMIMALL is not responsible for any warranties promised by resellers, wholesalers or any other third party businesses. If you receive any form of warranty or guarantee from another supplier, please ensure they provide you with the correct documentation to protect your rights.

In no event shall ZUMIMALL be liable for any indirect, incidental, exemplary or special damages arising out of or in connection with this limited warranty or the product, including any LOSSES, AND ZUMIMALL'S AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THIS LIMITED WARRANTY OR THE PRODUCT WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT ACTUALLY PAID BY YOU FOR THE PRODUCT.

Return and Refund Policy

PRODUCT: At ZUMIMALL, we are all about customer satisfaction. If the product does not meet your expectations or is defective, you may request a refund, exchange or repair depending on your situation by referring to the policy below.

Replacement unit:

Warranty on any replacement unit - from the date of arrival

Important note: Orders that are in process, on hold, or shipped (you have received a tracking number or your order status is complete) cannot normally be canceled. If you have to refuse delivery due to force majeure after ZUMIMALL dispatches your package, you will be subject to the return and refund policy below and must pay the original shipping cost which will be deducted from your refund.

  2. a) For unwanted products

If a ZUMIMALL product that you purchased directly from the ZUMIMALL official website does not meet your requirements or is not suitable for your installation application, but a certified ZUMIMALL RMA technician has not confirmed the defect, we refer to such products as "unwanted products" .

You may return refundable products to ZUMIMALL within 15 days (regardless of whether the packaging is opened or not) or within 30 days (only for brand-new and unopened packaging) after the delivery date, to get a full refund of the product (but shipping costs are non-refundable) or exchange it for another product. This policy applies unless otherwise specified on our website, receipt, or packing slip. We will no longer provide any return or exchange services for refundable products after the 15 or 30-day period.

IMPORTANT NOTE: No full refunds will be given for "unwanted" ZUMIMALL Certified Refurbished products. You can only exchange refurbished products for refurbished products, not new equipment.

To avoid delays or denials in processing your refund request, please verify that your refunded product meets all of our inspection criteria below (“Inspection Criteria”).

The refunded product must be:

1. Original packaging, safe delivery;
2. All original accessories, documents, and standard certification labels are complete
3. The product has not been permanently altered in any way, including but not limited to paint, altered connection inputs, disconnected wires or cables, or instructions to remove screws/fasteners or seals;
4. The product is free from damage of any kind, including but not limited to dents, scratches, cracks, abuse, defacement, or damage from electrical surges;
5. Provide a tracking number when returning the item.
6. ZUMIMALL is not responsible for any damage or loss of the product during transportation.

    For your own benefit, we recommend that you ship your refunded product back to the location designated by ZUMIMALL using a traceable carrier who can provide you with a delivery confirmation. ZUMIMALL is not responsible for any loss or damage of refunded product caused in transit.

    ZUMIMALL will thoroughly inspect the refunded product upon receipt and decide whether it meets the inspection criteria. If your refunded product does not meet the inspection criteria (“Non-Conforming Refund Product”) and has been shipped to ZUMIMALL, your non-conforming refund product will be rejected or charged a restocking fee of up to 15% at ZUMIMALL’s sole discretion. Inspection may take up to 5 business days from the date of receipt of your refunded product. 

    If ZUMIMALL rejects the non-conforming product for refund, you will be responsible for the costs and expenses of shipping the non-conforming product for refund from ZUMIMALL to you.

    1. b) For defective products (non-artificial damage)

    Defective/damaged policy:

    If the product is defective or broken when you receive it, (non-artificial damage), within 15 days after delivery, please contact us by email and attach a photo or video, our engineer will provide you with a perfect product based on the video/photo After-sales service, replacement or refund, must follow our return and refund policy.

    After 15 days, full refunds are not offered, but replacements or repairs are possible. You are responsible for the shipping cost of returning the ZUMIMALL and ZUMIMALL will pay for the shipping cost of the new replacement or repaired unit.

    More than 1 year but under 3 year warranty, you are responsible for return shipping.

    1. c) For artificially damaged products

    If the product is artificially damaged, it cannot be refunded. Within 15 days , it can be replaced or repaired, but you are responsible for any service charges, shipping and other charges. After 15 days, no replacement or repair will be accepted.

    1. d) How to return

    Please contact our customer service at shopify@zumimall.com(customer service will reply to you within 1-3 business days), provide the order number, explain the reason and attach a picture or video for the return address.

    1. Return policy for products purchased from third parties

    If you have purchased a ZUMIMALL product from a third-party store or supplier that is not to your satisfaction or does not work for your installation, please contact the third-party store or supplier from which the product was originally purchased for its return and refund policy. All return and refund procedures related to ZUMIMALL products purchased from third-party stores or suppliers are subject to the specific policies of the third-party stores or suppliers.

    Upgrade or Exchange Policy

    ZUMIMALL cannot exchange any returned product of a different type unless the returned product meets all of the following requirements:

    1. The returned product is returned to ZUMIMALL for repair or replacement within ZUMIMALL's limited warranty and warranty period (2-year warranty); 
    1. The returned product is found to be defective by ZUMIMALL technicians and cannot be repaired;
    1. The product of the same model as the returned product is out of stock, and it is clearly out of stock or discontinued in the near future.

    If the returned product meets the stated requirements, ZUMIMALL will, at its sole discretion, offer a variety of replacement or upgrade product options. However, if you request a product other than the free alternative, you may be charged an additional fee. 

    IMPORTANT NOTICE: For new replacement products, you cannot request other replacement products unless they are confirmed to be defective or beyond repair by a certified ZUMIMALL technician.

    If your order has not been delivered or the ordered product has arrived damaged, please contact ZUMIMALL Customer Support. If your order is damaged or incomplete due to external damage, please keep all internal and external packaging, take photos or record video to preserve evidence, as this will be required when we file a shipping claim with the carrier service we used to ship your order. this way.

    When a customer returns an item, please state the reason for the refund when returning the item. Once your return has been received and inspected, we will email you within 5 to 7 days of receipt. We will also notify you within 5 to 7 days of approval or denial of your refund. If you're approved, we'll process your refund within 5-7 days and automatically add a credit to your credit card or original form of payment.

    Late or lost refunds (if applicable)

    If you haven't received your refund, please check your bank account again first.

    Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time for your refund to be officially posted. Next contact your bank. It usually takes some processing time before a refund is issued. If you've done all of this and still haven't received your refund, please contact us at shopify@zumimall.com.
